Esta Semana Santa <\/strong>es at\u00edpica y la estamos viviendo en casa debido al confinamiento decretado por el coronavirus<\/strong>. Pero eso no ha impedido que muchos de nosotr@s hayamos planeado un men\u00fa especial para la ocasi\u00f3n. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Siempre por estas fechas nos asalta una duda recurrente sobre el porqu\u00e9 no se come carne<\/strong> en esta temporada. La explicaci\u00f3n viene de la Iglesia Cat\u00f3lica, que invita a los creyentes a no comer carne los viernes de Cuaresma y, por supuesto, tampoco el Viernes Santo. El motivo es que era un alimento servido en d\u00edas de fiesta, por lo que el d\u00eda de la muerte de Jesucristo no deb\u00eda ser conmemorado as\u00ed. Es por eso que los platos de este d\u00eda suelen girar alrededor del pescado. El bacalao ajoarriero<\/strong> es un perfecto ejemplo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En Espa\u00f1a <\/strong>se suelen servir la sopa de ajo<\/strong> y guisos de patatas o las famosas “patatas a la importancia”<\/strong> tradicionales de Castilla. Tambi\u00e9n abundan los potajes, pues con este clima todav\u00eda apetece un plato de cuchara calentito. El potaje de garbanzos y espinacas<\/strong>, que tambi\u00e9n lleva bacalao, es uno de los preferidos. En Canarias sirven el sancocho con cherne salado<\/strong>, un pescado t\u00edpico de la zona similar al mero. Del sur de la pen\u00ednsula son las tortillitas de camarones<\/strong>, mientras que el hornazo<\/strong>, adem\u00e1s de los platos antes mencionados, se degusta tanto en Castilla y Le\u00f3n como en Castilla la Mancha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En cuanto a los postres, las torrijas <\/strong>son ya famosas en todo el territorio nacional, as\u00ed como los bu\u00f1uelos de viento<\/strong> y los pesti\u00f1os<\/strong>, estos \u00faltimos de tradici\u00f3n morisca. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
